In today’s world of aesthetic enhancement, we are in the midst of the one of the most exponential rises in popularity of all time. More men and women than ever before are looking towards the cosmetic medicine industry to improve their overall appearance, and aesthetic – and one of the biggest reasons for such a rise has been the innovations made in non-invasive aesthetic enhancement techniques. When it comes to non-invasive techniques, injectable treatments and fillers such as Juvéderm and Restylane have slowly cornered the market – becoming a favorite amongst both men and women, across multiple age groups. These hyaluronic acid-based fillers have proven to be some of the most effective skincare treatments designed to treat everything from age-related wrinkles and fine lines, to facial discolorations, hyperpigmentation and much more! And with hyaluronic acid-based fillers gaining favor amongst patients, day by day. Revance Aesthetic is excited to introduce an innovative new collection of fillers – the RHA Collection.
A Revolutionary New HA-Based Dermal Filler!
Developed by Swiss scientists, the RHA Collection is the newest and most innovative collection of hyaluronic acid based dermal fillers around today! Using the same active ingredient as heavyweights in the dermal filler world such as Juvéderm and Restylane, the RHA Collection is poised to become a favorite amongst patients looking to treat age-related dynamic wrinkles, facial folds, fine lines, and much more.
How Does RHA Work?
The Role of Hyaluronic Acid
As a hyaluronic acid based dermal filler, RHA can help provide patients with the high-level enhancement they want, while simultaneously ensuring they achieve a look that is still naturally beautiful. Its ability to mimic naturally occurring HA is where it truly shines. Natural HA within the skin helps to provide moisture, volume and much-needed structure to the skin tissue. However, over time, as we age, the skin will produce less and less hyaluronic acid – leaving us more susceptible to wrinkles, fine lines, facial volume loss, blemishes and more.
Dynamic Wrinkles and Facial Folds
Generally, when it comes to the non-invasive treatment of wrinkles and fine lines, aesthetic skincare experts will recommend two courses of injectable treatments – the first being the use of neuromodulators like Botox and Dysport, and the second being the use of dermal fillers like Juvéderm and Restylane. In most cases, Botox is recommended for those who are suffering from wrinkles that occur as a result of years of facial expressions, and muscle contractions beneath the skin causing lines to develop along the skin’s surface. Whereas fillers are recommended for wrinkles that occur as a result of age-related facial volume loss – the loss of valuable subdermal tissue, including collagen and fatty tissue, that helps provide our face with its plump volume and overall healthy appearance, that disappears as we age. However, in some cases, there are wrinkles that can occur that are somewhat of a hybrid of the two, known as dynamic wrinkles. Dynamic wrinkles and folds appear in areas of the face which move repetitively. RHA is specially designed to combat these types of wrinkles, and offers patients with an unheard level of resiliency ensuring they are able to adapt to the constant movements of the facial muscles and tissue.
Like other HA-based dermal fillers like Juvéderm, RHA’s hyaluronic acid base allows it to mimic the skin’s naturally occurring hyaluronic acid. However, using a specialized chemical modification during the manufacturing process, RHA better preserves the natural structure of the hyaluronic acid – making a far more similar, and far more naturally-appearing filler option for patients. The combination of RHA’s high adaptability and resiliency ensures that patients are able to achieve a far more aesthetically-pleasing, yet natural look!
